PM attends funeral of attorney general’s sister

Byrons-and-PMBasseterre, St. Kitts, 18th April, 2017 (MyVueNews.com) - Prime Minister Dr. Timothy Harris is currently in New York to attend the funeral of Helen Marcela Byron-Baker, the sister of Attorney General Vincent Byron.

 

Also present is Sir Dennis Byron, the president of the Caribbean Court of Justice, as well as Terrance Byron, partner in the law firm Byron and Byron.

 

Mrs. Byron-Baker, a national of the federation passed away in New York where she resided.

 

According to information provided by the government's information service, SKNIS, the funeral church service will take place at 9am at St. John’s United Methodist Church in Valley Stream, New York on 18th April, and interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Farmingdale, New York.

 

On Monday viewing and tributes were held at the J. Foster Phillips Funeral Home in St. Albans, New York. from 4pm to 8pm.

 

Mrs. Byron-Baker was a former senior property manager at Durst Fetner Properties LLC, one of the largest property developers in New York, and a founding member of KABA (Kittitian American Benevolent Association).
