Basseterre, St. Kitts, 19th April, 2017 (MyVueNews.com) - The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force will launch a radio program, Policing with You, aimed at creating another avenue for community connections with the Police.
The program gets its launch on ZIZ Radio, Thursday, 20th April, at 9:15 am.
It is an effort that is strongly supported by Commissioner of Police Ian Queeley.
Queeley said, "We will use this program to share with our communities ways to work with us in preventing crime and reducing the fear crime in our communities."
The Commissioner added, "I am pleased with the work of those involved in the development of this radio program, and I encourage the public to tune in, get the information, embrace it and put it to use to reduce their risk in becoming victims of crime."
A Police source indicated the importance of developing stronger relationships with the community.
The radio program will be hosted by Inspector of Police James Francis, who is the head of the Police Service's Criminal Investigations Department and Inspector Carl Greaux, Officer Commanding the Frigate Bay Police Station.
The program will be moderated by ZIZ Radio’s Morning Show announcer 'GCue'.
