Kittitian NCAA Division 1 college basketball and former SKABA Junior star player Shamile Jeffers has been listed among NBA draft prospects by a number of online NBA draft centres including cbssports.com and draftexpress.com
The CBS Sports and NBA Draft Express lists Jeffers as a 6’-7” 233 pound forward from the NCAA Division 1 team the Jacksonville University Dolphins.
Jeffers played in 30 games this past season for the JU Dolphins and is described as a strong rebounder.
Prior to the Dolphins, Jeffers spent two years at Williston (SD) State College, leading WSC to a 25-7 record during his last season, including a 17-game winning streak and the region 13 title under coach Rob Flocco, and was named second team all-conference and second team all-region after averaging 13.6 points and 7.2 rebounds per game – hitting 56 percent of his shots from the floor.
