Basseterre, St. Kitts, (Thursday 12th July, 2012)-Residents in Sandy Point were alarmed yesterday following a shooting incident that has left one man in local hospital.
Authorities have confirmed that their investigations, though early, are being aggressively pursued. They said that the shooting occurred on Wednesday 11th July, 2012, at Mount Idle.
The victim has been identified as Trevon Rouse of Sandy point; believed to be 30 years old. He is now in stable condition after receiving a wound to his arm and side area. He will remain in hospital for further treatment and observation.
Police are calling for the assistance of the public for more information, though they currently have two persons assisting them in their investigations. These have been identified as Leroy Viera and Bruce Lee Rogers, both of Sandy Point.
