Miss Caribbean Talented Teen Contestant 2012- Miss St.Kitts

skMiss St.Kitts- Junika Berry, 16. For the 2012 – 2013 Digicel Haynes Smith Caribbean Talented Teen Pageant, host country St. Kitts will be represented by Junika Berry. She deems her participation in the 33rd edition of a pageant of such distinction a signal honor to represent her hometown in all its splendor.

November 20th, 1995 ushered the birth of this creation of radiant hope and unparalled charisma. She is the eldest of three (3) siblings who cherishes her strong family bonds and blessings from above which she believes have molded her into the fine young lady she has blossomed into. 

Currently, she is the local reigning National Carnival Talented Teen Queen having won four of the five judged segments in addition to capturing the Miss Photogenic award. She was also the recipient of the prestigious Chairman’s Award. Junika credits pageantry for having provided her with numerous wonderful opportunities, one of the most memorable being her participation in the internationally renowned 2012 Expo in South Korea.

Miss Caribbean Talented Teen Contestant- Miss Nevis

newsMiss Nevis- Kevonie Pemberton, 18. On October 29th, 1994, Erika & Steve Chapman welcomed their first baby girl into this world. Hospitable, energetic and ambitious are just a few words to describe this Nevisian beauty who hails from the peaceful village of Prospect in the heart of vibrant St. Johns, Nevis. Today 18 year old Kevonie Pemberton has grown to become a lover of tourism, music and education.

She is a firm believer that education is the only true pathway to socio-economic advancement and intellectual enlightenment. It has always been Kevonie’s lifelong dream to become an economist with a focus on the critical tourism sector because of her passion for tourism. Hence the reason why she is currently enrolled at the Nevis Sixth Form College where Economics, Sociology & Management of Business are her favourite subjects. Outside academics she is an active member of the St. Kitts Nevis Red Cross & a member of the Literary and Debating Society Fundraising committee. On the 4th February she was crowned Miss Teen Hospitality which was a dream come true for her as she was then afforded the opportunity to be an ambassador for her country.

usviMiss USVI- Aniah John, 14. “You are known by the company you keep,” Henry Kissinger quoted. I admire this quote because it is a true statement. My name is Aniah Nerissa John, but many people call me Ni-Ni or Niah for short. I was born on St. Croix USVI to Asa Victor and Ernest John on February 17, 1998. God is my number one hero besides my mother. He gives me strength and he shows me a lot of love.

Four amazing qualities make me who I am education, family, talent, and my future. I have two siblings: Jared (18) and A’Jayden John (7). Currently, I am a 14 year old honor student in the 10th grade attending the St. Croix Educational Complex High School. In leisure time I enjoy reading, writing, spending time with family and friends, dancing, modeling, and cheerleading. I am affiliated with many different programs and companies that include modeling with Cyndee’s Models in the Isle, dancing with Cruzan Dance Company, cheerleading with the St. Croix Educational Complex Cheerleading Squad, and lastly I am a member of the St. Croix Educational Complex Marching Band.

tntMiss Trinidad and Tobago- Clara Clarke, 17. I WAS BORN AND GREW UP IN THE BEAUTIFUL VILLAGE OF TOCO, LOCATED AT THE NORTHERN END OF THE ISLAND OF TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO. MY FAMILY INCLUDES MY MOTHER, FATHER, MY TWO SISTERS AND MYSELF.

PRESENTLY I AM A FORM (5) STUDENT OF THE TOCO SECONDARY SCHOOL, WHERE I AM CURRENTLY STUDYING CHEMISTRY, HUMAN AND SOCIAL BIOLOGY, PRINCIPLES OF ACCOUNTS , PRINCIPLE OF BUSINESS, MATHS AND ENGLSIH WITH THE AIM OF BECOMING A DENTIST.

I ALSO HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO REPRESENT MY ISLAND (TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO) AT THE CUT GAMES IN TRACK AND FIELD IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC IN THE YEAR 2005.
